A tour at Apokoronas

In the inland of Chania, our team visited by bus the ancient hill of Aptera in Megala Xorafia. We admired the old Castle, the Theatre, the Roman Baths and the St. John's Monastery.







Later, we visited the traditional village of Fres and the village Askyfou for our meal.

A tour in Chania

 Greek students were the guiders of the Erasmus team. They guided us at the Monastery of Agia Triada, the Venizelos' Graves, the old town of Chania, the old harbor, the Agora and all the central places of the town.

WORKSHOP:SHORT FILMS WITH IMPACT (Part 2)

 The Erasmus team visited the Pneumatiko Kentro where the 9th Chania Film Festival took place the week before. They had the opportunity to attend a workshop with the masters of film making in Chania. The president of the CFF answered to all the questions and the students saw in practise how a real movie is made.

WORKSHOP:SHORT FILMS WITH IMPACT (Part 1)

The second day students first presented the short films they brought from their countries. Hungary presented a movie about discrimination, Turkey two movies on refugee matters and economical crisis in Turkey, Greece two short films about the refugees and discrimination, Romania a documentary on covid crisis in Romania and school consequences, Portugal 2 animated films about polution and climate change and social media and N. Macedonia about culture. During and after the presentations students discussed on their topics and messages that are held. They found many commons between the european countries! 

They completed of worksheets about elements of films that help in getting the message across.

Meeting with the vice-Governor of Crete

 On 4th of November the team project met the vice-Governor of Crete, Mr. N. Kalogeris. He welcomed the teachers and students and gave presents, while the member of the Department of Tourism, Mr. T. Diamantakis presented the island of Crete, its history and people.

First mobility in Chania (1-5/11/21) - Welcome Erasmus team- 1st Day

The first mobility for our project is finally true. Today Music School of Theriso in Chania, Crete, welcomed the Erasmus team fron Turkey, N. Macedonia, Hungary, Portugal and Romania with traditional music and dances. 


Early in the morning the team visited the Town Hall of Chania and met Mrs. Zervoudaki, the Deputy Mayor. 




After arriving at school, the headmaster, G. Andreadakis, welcomed the Erasmus members and exchanged gifts with students and teachers. Greek students performed music playing greek instruments.










 Each country member presented their country and school and students played icebreaking games in order to know each other and work together.
